Five effective ways to welcome inner peace into your life

Just like air, water, sunshine, and love, inner peace is a profound human need. Yet, people believe they can do without it. However, a person without inner peace survives only physically, while remaining in a serious state of chronic stress.
Wayne Dyer, an American philosopher believes, “Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.”

Five effective ways to welcome inner peace into your life
Nadia Jalfi, a well-known food and lifestyle blogger from Spain, believes that inner peace doesn’t show up on its own unless you do something about it.
Small changes can bring in a big difference over time. We’ve brought you the most effective tips to find inner peace in everyday life.

1.     Don't overthink

Humans most often create various scenarios in their head about minor issues. This is when they’re overthinking. One should try to pull back in such a situation. Put yourself in a pleasant state of mind and think happier.

2.     Do something different

Escape from your normal routine and set up a mini vacation. You can go for a movie, hiking, biking or anything that makes you excited. Go out with your friends or spend time with people you love. Pamper yourself and refresh your mind once in a while.

3. Escape for Sometime

Stay away from things, such as your phone, social media, and others. Grant yourself a few hours of tranquillity and visit a quiet place. Embrace your inner peace and absorb the calmness of the surroundings of that place.

4.     Ask instead of guessing

Observing things and people is not possible for everyone. It can create anxiety, uncertainty and misguided conclusions in the minds of many. The simple logic is to communicate whenever in doubt. Initially, it will be a little difficult. But gradually, it will just save you and your time.

5.     Take a deep breath

Just like everyone else has been telling you to. When faced with a situation of problem, stress, or overthinking, just relax and take a deep breath. Just focus on the air you inhale and exhale. This will calm your body and mind. Besides, you will be able to pull yourself to the present again.

While you follow the mentioned tips, remember that there is a tomorrow as well. There can be a bad day and life can interfere with your plans sometimes, but you should keep reminding yourself that tomorrow is coming soon.

Hair plays an important role in how a person looks. Nadia Jalfi says that beautiful hair is the result of extensive care and a healthy diet. Yet, a majority of people do not devote their time to their hair.
Hair can lose its health and shine due to environmental factors or changes in the lifestyle. Although deep conditioning and oiling can help in improving the texture of hair, experts believe that a good diet can make a big difference.
Hair loss has become the most common problem today. A good diet can provide essential vitamins and minerals that ensure good health for hair. Understanding the fact, food and fashion blogger, Nadia Jalfi has brought some food items that one must integrate into their diet to improve the overall health of hair. Let’s find out!

Nadia Jalfi

1.     Salmon: Omega-3 fatty acids

Omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial for various health-related problems in a human body. These are healthy fats that a human body cannot produce. Being anti-inflammatory, Omega-3 can help if hair shedding is caused due to inflammation. Omega-3 fatty acids prevent various diseases and boost the growth of hair. Jalfi suggests that getting Omega-3 from natural resources is the best way. These natural resources mainly include salmon, which helps the body process insulin more efficiently. Other foods that are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and can promote nourished hair are almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds and cold-water fish such as, mackerel and sardines.

2.     Eggs: Protein

Human hair is made up of the protein known as keratin. Therefore, ensuring enough protein in your diet is important for lustrous and thick hair. A diet that lacks protein encourages weak and dry hair. Moreover, hair loss and restricted hair growth are mainly a result of extremely low intake of protein. People who face this problem should include foods such as eggs, chicken, fish or dairy products. Jalfi informs that egg yolk is also rich in a B vitamin called biotin, which enhances hair growth and makes them strong.

3.     Spinach: Iron

Deficiency of iron in a human body is one of the crucial reasons for hair loss as it affects the hair growth cycle. Like other nutrients, iron also promotes blood supply for healthy hair. Spinach acts as a natural conditioner for hair and is iron rich. Other than iron, its green leaves contain calcium, magnesium, potassium and Omega-3 acids. All these nutrients are important for shiny and lustrous hair. It is advised to eat spinach everyday as it is one of the 8 superfoods.

4.     Citrus fruits: Vitamin C

Vitamin C is one of the important nutrients that ensures a regular supply of nutrients to the hair. It prevents breakage and makes hair strong. Especially amongst the women, Vitamin C promotes hair growth with temporary hair thinning. Although oranges and lemons are considered as the only best sources of vitamin C, Nadia Jalfi informed that one guava contains properties 4-5 oranges. However, all three of them can be used for fulfillment of Vitamin C.

5.     Avocado: Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an essential nutrient for hair as well as skin. It assists in guarding hair against the damage caused by the sun and repairing hair tissues, which leads to thin hair. Vitamin E helps hair follicles to work efficiently by improving blood circulation. One can include avocado in a diet as it is a good source of vitamin E. Other food items that are rich in Vitamin E are nuts, olive oil, and sunflower oil.

Other than these food items, Nadia Jalfi suggests applying hair masks made of natural ingredients.

These five New Year diet resolutions by Nadia Jalfi are important to know before cutting down your daily intake of calories.

1.     Take small steps and go slow

Adding more fibers in your diet and eating just salad doesn’t always brings results. It’s always good to go slow and take small steps. Eating healthy should be the main goal, instead of eating less. Nadia Jalfi says carrying a fruit or vegetable in the brown lunch, eating protein rich meat on just one day in a wee and taking up a whole-grain cereal as a midmorning snack can be few things to follow a slow and steady diet plan.

2.     Drink More Water

You read it right. Drink as much water as you can. It’s the cheapest way that gives your body a satisfying boost. Do not get scared and make a rigid target of ‘eight glass a day’. As we said, go slow. Drink a glass before brushing your teeth, drink water whenever you get tempted towards any other beverage and try to drink a glass extra on every successive day.

3.     Make your diet plan colorful

Nadia Jaldi says that including colorful produce in your New Year diet resolutions is an effective way to lose some kilos as they contains disease-fighting compounds. So whenever you shop, reach out for a rainbow and pick a new fruit or veggie or designate a color to each day.

4.     Avoid Mindless Munching

A major chunk of your fat is the result of all the mindless munching. If you become successful in avoiding this, you are half done. Pop a stick of sugar-free gum or mint in your mouth, brush your teeth before you sit for a movie, busy your hands with healthier snacks or drinks and pay attention to every piece of food before it reaches your mouth.

5.     Let the odds be in your favor

Work on every other thing that’s obstructing you from your dieting goals and help yourself succeed. Leave all your temptations at the grocery store, socialize with non-food events and become a buddy with any of the family member or friend with diet resolutions.

Nadia Jalfi in her New Year diet resolutions gave an extra tip to exercise or walk for 30 minutes regularly. Take mini steps before you reach your goal and always take enough sleep.
